Friend or Foe?

October 20,2011 was not fun for Wayne Goff.

Wayne Goff and his fellow hunter Conrad Masse were out in the woods of Albany, VT tracking a bear with their two hounds. They took their truck up the road to a spot where they suspected the bear would cross and go out and waited.

They were about 500 feet apart from each other when the bear came out of the woods between the two men!

Masse opened fire, shooting at least three shots, but only one actually hit the bear. One of the shots hit a nearby tree, and the other dug into Goff in the midsection/pelvic area!

Goff was transported to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and is now released and in stable condition. Masse however is not out of the woods yet.

He is being charged with aggravated assault for shooting Goff. Also if that wasn't the least of his worries he was issued fish and game tickets for shooting from the road, having a loaded rifle in a vehicle, and not having proper display of permits for the bear hounds.

Masse will appear in court on February 28, 2012.

I chose to critique MTV's Blog I found through technorati.com. This blog is very well done. There are many links to different sites, including concert schedules, show times for television, news, and upcoming movies. This blog is also very visually appealing because it is bright and has lots of pictures and videos to go with the posts. One thing I dislike about some blogs I found was long posts. Multiple paragraphs that just drone on and on. MTV's blog however have fairly smaller posts that I could read way faster and not get bored.
